Through these difficult and uncertain times, our community is reminded that we are not less through this pandemic; together, we are more!
This is especially true for the ECHOS team as we reflect upon our community and the overwhelming amount of grace and support we have been blessed with as we continue to serve our community to the best of our ability.
The past few months have been filled with challenges for all of us. For ECHOS, we have assessed our systems and programs, and we have intentionally and thematically found ways to accommodate to the greater needs of our community. From extending the Emergency Winter Shelter to staggering our office shifts, ECHOS has been taking every measure to ensure the safety of our staff and clients while upholding our high standard of care. All of this, however, would not be possible without you.
The ECHOS community has risen above this pandemic, and despite the challenges we face, our donors and supporters have come together, uniting behind our mission in an extraordinary way. Our team wants to recognize you and the rest of our community for the increase in support we have seen, both emotional support and monetary donations. We are continuously reminded of our community’s beauty and kindness and are grateful to have each of you as a member of our wonderful community. Without your support, ECHOS would not be possible! Steady Giving Encircles Families in Need
We depend on our regular donors! As the seasonality of our services ebbs and flows, partners who invest monthly or on a frequent basis in our Giving Circle enable us to continue providing the high-level of service to all the families who come through our doors with a need.
One of the values of monthly giving is for the organization to have stable funds, ensuring our programs remain in service for our community to utilize. We are inviting you to give monthly so that we can apply your donations wherever we need the support. Just $55 could provide an interview outfit and haircut to an eager young man seeking a higher wage job or two tanks of gas for a family struggling to make it to medical appointments.

Even with our two new housing programs, supporting six families who otherwise would be in shelter, ECHOS Emergency Winter Shelter has seen an increase in guest usage each month, with an overall increase of 20%.
87% participation
We have had an 87% rate of participation among our shelter volunteers.
COVID-19 Response
ECHOS remains open and here to help you! We do our best to serve our community through individual crisis, especially during the worldwide uncertainties we face today. Amid the COVID-19 outbreak, ECHOS is committed to serving our community and maintaining our efforts to enable stability in the lives of our neighbors. Now, more than ever, ECHOS is in need of your continued monetary support during these most difficult times. Every dollar makes a difference! For example, funds will help serve a young man facing an eviction because he was recently laid off, a young couple with a 3-month-old daughter unsure of their next meal because medical bills consumed their paychecks, and families experiencing a housing crisis during this unprecedented time.
