Emergency Shelter Opportunities
The ECHOS Emergency Shelter opens on Monday December 2, 2024 and provides support to our neighbors through April 4, 2024.
Volunteers are essential to our shelter, extending its capacity by helping with meals, cleaning, intake, and more.
Morning Shelter Volunteers help prepare breakfast and get guests ready for the day.
Evening Shelter Volunteers help check guests in, serve dinner and get guests settled for night.
Overnight Shelter Volunteers spend the night at the shelter, alternating sleep and monitoring with an ECHOS Staff Member.
Hot and Ready Meal Volunteers prepare evening meals for our guests ensuring each individual has access to a warm and nutritious meal.
Shelter Cleaning Volunteers help clean our shelter on a weekly basis, ensuring a clean and healthy place for our guests to stay.
