LCBC Be Rich Campaign 2020
ECHOS is honored to be a recipient in the Be Rich Campaign – LCBC Manheim Campus for the third year. LCBC’s Be Rich campaign “gives people the opportunity to unleash generosity and make a difference” (LCBC, 2020). Through giving and serving with non-profits, LCBC’s congregations are impacting their local communities.
LCBC Manheim Campus has chosen to support ECHOS in its efforts to empower stability among our neighbors experiencing crises. Providing both financial and volunteer support, LCBC’s commitment to our community is inspirational. Specifically, their gift of $25,000 will assist in fitting out a new kitchen for the Emergency Winter Shelter as part of the Community Place on Washington (CPOW) complex expansion. Additionally, LCBC’s congregation has taken a direct approach to meeting the needs of our vulnerable neighbors, dedicating time to multiple volunteer opportunities like cleaning our offices and current shelter space, providing meals for the shelter, and assembling disinfecting kits.
We are beyond grateful for the support of the 2020 Be Rich campaign. As we enter a year full of unknowns and uncertainties, ECHOS stands firm on its mission and we are humbled to serve those experiencing crises alongside the LCBC Manheim Campus.
