Rotary Club Donation
Elizabethtown Community Housing & Outreach Services (ECHOS) is honored to receive a generous grant from the Elizabethtown Rotary Club.
Their support provided a stackable washer and dryer for ECHOS Enrichment Center as it expands into a new building on the Community Place on Washington complex (anticipated this fall). These appliances will allow guests in need at the Center to have fresh clothes for job interviews, work, hygiene, and plain decent living. The local rotary also advocated on ECHOS’ behalf and secured a matching contribution from District Rotary 7390—allowing ECHOS to purchase a second set, too!
Beyond financial support, local Rotarians frequently donate their time as well, volunteering for ECHOS in a variety of ways like cleaning our offices and program apartments. It’s because of selfless individuals like them that our organization functions at all.
